We expected to collect 0.50 large bags of litter during this plalking session. We filled 0.50. We reached 100% of what we expected to collect.
It's disappointing how much trash can be collected within one block. Some of the plastic was very brittle and breaking down into microplastics. It must have been there all summer. There were a lot of fall leaves covering up the trash. We did the best we could to spot the hidden plastic items. Next year the fall cleanup should happen in September.
